Himachal Pradesh PWD and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Monday married Amreen Sekhon, an assistant professor at Panjab University, in a private ceremony in Chandigarh.
Amreen, daughter of Jotinder Singh Sekhon and Opinder Kaur, holds double master’s degrees, a PhD in psychology, and teaches at Panjab University. She has also undertaken studies at Harvard University.

A two-time MLA, Singh is the son of the late six-time chief minister Virbhadra Singh and Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh.
The wedding was a family affair attended by close relatives. The Anand Karaj ceremony was held in a Gurdwara in Sector 11, Chandigarh.

Talking to mediapersons after the event, Singh, who is the descendant of the erstwhile Rampur-Bushahr royal family, expressed gratitude to his well-wishers for the blessings and support. He said that the marriage marks a new chapter in his life.
This is Vikramaditya’s second marriage. His first marriage was to Sudarshana Chundawat of Rajasthan in 2019 and ended in divorce in 2024.
